You're getting close to our last picks in terms of absolutely amazing display windows. We're pretty sure you won't be disappointed.
#30. Printemps in Paris has high quality window displays and this one made for the store Chloé is incredible. Using the theme of Alice in Wonderland, the designers set out to create a couple of amazing displays. We loved this one in particular for its details, like the note that says “mangez moi”.
#29. Su Blackwell is the author of this window, being an expert craftsman with paper, she created this enchanting display for Nicole Farhi. The story is brought to life from the pages of the book in the tiniest of details.
#28. Whoever the creator and whatever the store, these people deserve a reward. The unraveling mannequins in the wind and color contrast make this display nothing short of the perfect eye candy.
#27. There’s yet another window from Bergdorf Goodman that is absolutely gorgeous. It’s interesting to see every little detail carved into the giraffe and how such a small window can create such an impact. Photo credits: Rudy Pospisil
#26. In 2012, Chameleon Visual designed this incredible window display for John Lewis. Each of the animals in this display was hand crafted with everyday items we find in our homes. From hair brushes, vacuum cleaner pieces, towels, knives, pots, lights and other things the designers managed to breathe life into these fantastic creatures.
#25. Going back to Bergdorf Goodman, this display makes us travel back in time to a beautiful ball. Also that little stair case looks fantastic wrapped around that jewel adorned tree.
#24. Still at Goodman’s, this window from 2010 shifts our perspectives and gives us a lavish Victorian feel. We just love how the golden hues of this window melt in with the white to create a staggering view.
#23. Moschino is also famous for creating amazing window displays such as this one. It gives us a 90’s feel with the clothing on the mannequin and the hyper colorful boom box in which it is positioned.
#22. At Harrods, we find a gorgeous set of window displays portraying the silver lining theme. We found the one created for Gucci to be the most visually appealing, absolutely symmetrical and with a color palette that induces daydreaming in an instant.
#21. We’re really curious where these people find inspiration to create such fantastic displays. Here we have another example of an installation created from everyday accessories in the form of a woman and a man. We don’t know the authors and we can’t make out the store name so let us know if you have any ideas.
#20. France provides some of the classiest windows in the world, but this defies the imagination. The photo is from Le Bon Marche, in 2013. It’s funny to imagine all those animals with different limbs, making our minds tick and think.
#19. In 2011, Mark Gagnon created a set of windows for Bergdorf Goodman based on phobias. The one we enjoyed the most reflects fears of animals. The intention was not to scare passersby but to make them resonate with some of the designed elements.
#18. In 2009, David Lynch, yes the one and only jack of all trades in the arts, created two amazing windows in his particular eerie surrealistic style for The Galleries Lafayette.
#17. This ingenious display comes from Smythson, the luxury stationary store and was created by Billie Achilleos. The plane was crafted from the brand’s Panama line of products entirely.
#16. This luxury mobile store, Vertu from Selfridges showcased their products in 2014 in a grand way. That cat faced mannequin, dressed to impress passersby in a gown made from butterflies.
#15. Fairytales can come to life through the displays created by various illustrators and designers and so does this one from Fendi. Analogia project designed the background, paying homage to the iconic Palazzo della Civiltà in Italy.
#14. Another incredible Anthropologie display unravels before our eyes. Besides the splendid architecture we have that amazing paper bag dress which flows seemingly forever.
#13. In 2012 Roberto Cavali offered passers-by a hyper realistic view into the world of Pocahontas. The mannequin is incredibly life like and even resembles the Disney princess wearing a beautiful tribal gown.
#12. Moving on to more fairytales and stories, we have Harrods to include in this category for its depictions of the Great Gatsby. From the book and movie they managed to still one of the scenes in time and it is absolutely dazzling.
#11. Still at Harrods, because they have some of the best window displays in the world, we are currently viewing an installation dedicated to the Chinese New Year. The details of the elements used and the bright red background make a true work of art.
#10. Cinderella is widely popular story for generations now and Harrods gave life to some of the scenes through their displays. This one in particular is colorful, playful and makes you almost feel that magic is real.
#9. A spectacular display, similar to the one from Nicole Farhi through the materials used, namely paper. Those gigantic and beautiful pop up flowers were designed for the Prada store at Harrods this year.
#8. The Harvey Nichols flagship store benefitted from amazing displays such as the one below last year. This window gives us a sort of tribal feel and definitely a mesmerizing view with those colors and objects used to create the wave like appearance.
#7. The people who made this display must have had so much fun splashing colors everywhere for this Selfridges window. It does not showcase any clothing or accessories but sometimes this may be the best way to convince customers to come inside.
#6. Still at Selfridges 2014, we have another colorful example of a window display. This mannequin’s hair is absolutely fantastic, especially because of the pastel colors and how it takes over the entire window, no need for products to catch the attention of passers-by.
#5. We are fairly curious about this display from Jo Malone, from 2011. Is that cherry tree real? Did the architects of the building preserve the tree? Is it simply an exquisite window display? Most likely yes, it is a display.
#4. Talk about perfect matching items and backgrounds we can see this display from Selfridges that satisfies the need to mix and match colors. The minds at work for this display calculated even how the colors darken in the shade which is unbelievable.
#3. An intricate and somehow chilling visual display from Harvey Nichols. This window explores the idea of fabric making in a very unique way.
#2. A whimsical window display from Prada with splendid twisted trees that seem to defy gravity. Also their products are put in perfect contrast with the grayish background.
#1. This Harvey Nichols display from 2010 is out of this world, literally. It makes us think that we are stepping into a cosmic realm, surrounded by the glimmer of stars and mystical energy from the universe. Photo credits: Gary Kenyon.
